Access Dental Centers is looking for a Part Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) for our Carmichael Location. As a RDH you would be mainly responsible for the direct provision of oral hygiene and appropriate preventive services (Performs prevention of dental disease) to Access Dental patients. The RDH will also be responsible for providing appropriate oral health information to individuals and groups.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):
Requires a comprehensive knowledge of oral hygiene care in outpatient settings.
Knowledge of the principles and practice of modern oral hygiene and periodontal patient care is necessary.
Must be cognizant of the public health, social and economic factors which impact on the overall health, and more specifically the oral health of their patients.
Must be able to creatively work with other health care professionals from a variety of disciplines to achieve maximal program effectiveness and patient benefit.
Must have the ability to creatively solve problems through individual and/or programmatic action.
Excellent Hygiene Clinical Skills
Compliance with state dental practice requirements
Customer service skills
Excellent communication and active listening skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with fellow healthcare providers.
Requirements:
1. Unrestricted license to practice Oral Hygiene in the State of California
2. CPR license (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
3. Malpractice Insurance
