Wow, I must of really touched a nerve with people with my last post because some idiot flagged it. As I said before, if your a student graduating from dental hygienist school don’t expect to be paid $40 to $50 an hour right off the bat. You have to earn it through several years of working in a dental practice. The so-called Entitlement Generation don not see that way though, but will find out the hard in the real world ( no not MTV)… $26 an hour a slave wage?!! Are you kidding me?! There are many other trade professions that work just as hard if not more so and make half of what you call a slave wage.

The medium salary for new grads in $26.82 not $40 an hour. What world are you living in? Good luck finding a job that will pay you bet. $40-$55 an hour in this economy!

And if you ask me, dental hygienists don’t exactly kill themselves either and don’t think their worth no $40 – $50 anyway.

Hygienists; especially new grads don’t take this type of CHEAP compensation to be a slave.

This is not a practice that will ever value or respect you. Instead they will work you to the bone and pay you half of what you are worth.

Don’t let these dentist drag our going rate of $40-$55 an hour down by taking this job.

We are worth every penny! Why? because we produce on average $1200 dollars a day for them. (even NEW grads)

To the dentist that placed this ad: you get what you pay for; a revolving door of new grads that get a little experience and LEAVE.
